WDSF unveils lineup for 2024 GrandSlam Series

World DanceSport Federation proudly presents the highly anticipated lineup for the 2024 GrandSlam Series. This year, the GrandSlam circuit promises to be more exhilarating than ever, with a total of five electrifying events spanning across the globe.

Kicking off the series in grand style, the picturesque city of Calvià will make its debut on the GrandSlam circuit, hosting both the GrandSlam Standard and Latin competitions on May 4th and 5th respectively. Nestled in the heart of the Balearic Islands, Calvià brings its unique charm and vibrant energy to the world of DanceSport, promising an unforgettable experience for athletes and spectators alike.

Continuing the momentum, the GrandSlam Series travels to the dynamic city of Wuxi, China, where the Standard and Latin competitions will take place on July 20th and 21st. Renowned for its rich cultural heritage and modern infrastructure, Wuxi sets the stage for an exhilarating showcase of talent and passion.

Next on the itinerary is the iconic city of Stuttgart, Germany, which reprises its role on the GrandSlam circuit with its signature blend of tradition and innovation. Standard and Latin athletes will dazzle audiences on August 15th, 16th and 17th, as Stuttgart once again proves why it's a favourite among DanceSport enthusiasts.

Heading to Balkans, the GrandSlam Series makes a stop in Belgrade, Serbia, on October 5th and 6th. With its vibrant atmosphere and passionate dance community, Belgrade promises to deliver an electrifying competition that will captivate audiences from start to finish.

Last but certainly not least, the GrandSlam Series culminates in the glittering metropolis of Shanghai, China, where the GrandSlam Final will take place on December 14th and 15th. While all other events in the circuit are open to all participants, the GrandSlam Final, as the pinnacle event of the series, brings together the top 12 couples in Standard and Latin respectively, reuniting the best dancers in the world for a spectacular showcase of skill and artistry.
