Study

We are delighted to announce the official launch of the Education Program Regulation, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering our National Member Bodies (NMBs) with access to high-level educational resources across various disciplines within DanceSport.

Following a decision by the WDSF Presidium on February 16, 2024, the Bidding Form Education Programme has been successfully adopted. This comprehensive programme was meticulously prepared by the WDSF Membership Commission and submitted for review and voting to the WDSF Presidium by the WDSF Vice-President for Sport, Mr. Nenad Jeftic.

The WDSF Education Programme presents a unique opportunity for NMBs to elevate their educational offerings. From coaching and judging to chairpersons and DJs, this programme caters to the diverse educational needs of our members. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that this education opportunity will be on a cost-shared basis, ensuring accessibility and affordability for all NMBs.

The WDSF Education Programme provides a unique opportunity for our National Member Bodies to enhance their educational offerings and ultimately contribute to the growth and development of DanceSport on a global scale.

WDSF President

By providing the necessary tools and resources, the WDSF Education Programme aims to drive the growth of DanceSport across its NMBs. This initiative not only opens doors to new opportunities but also enables NMBs to reach their maximum potential on a national level, ultimately fostering growth, inclusivity, and excellence within our sport.

Eligibility for the programme will be determined based on various factors, including the number of registered athletes, the profile of the NMB, and the frequency of WDSF-sanctioned competitions hosted. This ensures that resources are allocated where they are most needed, maximizing the impact of the programme.

Applying for the WDSF Education Programme is straightforward. NMBs are invited to submit their applications outlining their specific educational needs and priorities. Upon approval by the WDSF Membership Commission, NMBs will gain access to a network of experts dedicated to helping them achieve their educational goals.

As the cornerstone of DanceSport on a national level, NMBs play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sport. Together, we have the power to create a brighter future marked by growth, inclusivity, and excellence. Let us seize this opportunity to turn our vision into reality.
